It has been a year. More heartache than one would want in a years time, let alone a few months.
And I should probably end the year light and fluffy, since I do still have my dogs and enjoy them even more now than last year (though some snow for sledding would be GREAT about now!). But it's been a year.
Don't get me wrong, not all of it was bad. Great, great sledding season to kick off 2011, even with just Rohan and Turin. And though Irene went screaming through my state and the devastation she caused - I've gotten to meet some incredible coworkers and make some new friends and be a part of the Irene Recovery Team, not only at the Rutland Incident Command Center, but with some pretty high up government people that I would have never dreamed of.
But still, I am not unhappy to see 2011 ending!
So, I guess the following is true, since I am a Vermonter (about seven generations worth):
[And do I dare say...Bring it on 2012?]
